A frightened kitten is being yelled at through a shed window, and a mean man known as Grumpas is involved. They know they can’t solve this alone, and Goldie wants to tell you the story.

Is anyone else getting Alice Briggs Annily letters? I got the second one and keep thinking about it. Like, it keeps popping into my mind. Those mysterious little nuggets of information have got me jonesing for the next letter. Every day I come down the stairs and stare disdainfully at the letterbox. I can see me gnawing my own arm off before the end of this. All to say, I'm enjoying it.
This is an intriguing mystery that arrives in an exciting series of envelopes by mail. The lovely watercolor illustrations add to the enjoyment as well as the storytelling. It's really fun to get this in the mail -- I looked forward to each installment.
