When I was a kid, I had one of those books where they printed your name into the story. I don't remember the plot. I remember seeing my name on the page and thinking, this book was made for me. I think I still have that book somewhere, actually.
That feeling stuck with me for decades. And jut recently, I realized I could do something similar for my story letters so you, or someone you love, could have that same experience.
Every letter can be addressed to you by name.
Not "Dear Friend." Not "Hey There." Your name, right there at the top of each letter, in the narrator's own hand. "Dear Mary." "Dear Susan." However you'd want a friend to greet you.
It's a small thing and a big thing at the same time. The story doesn't change — but the way it feels when you open the envelope does. It's yours. It was written to you.
How It Works
When you check out, you'll see an option to personalize your letters. Enter the first name you'd like used in the salutation, and every letter in your subscription will be addressed to that name.
Personalization is only available at the time of purchase — it can't be added to an existing subscription.
Timing: Your first personalized letter may take up to 4 weeks to ship, since each set is custom created just for you. After that, letters are mailed on the regular schedule — the first and third Tuesday of every month.
Gifts
If you're buying a subscription as a gift, this is where it really shines. Enter the recipient's first name, and they'll open their first envelope to find a letter addressed to them personally. It's the kind of personal touch that makes a gift extra special.
If you're ordering more than one subscription (say, for two friends), you can enter multiple names separated by commas.
Cost
Personalization is $15 per name/subscription, added at checkout. It covers the custom printing for every letter in the subscription mailed to that address.
