- ½ C chopped onion
- ½ C chopped celery
- 1 lb ground beef
- 24 oz tomato sauce
- 1 t basil
- ½ t salt
- ¼ t pepper
- 1 t chili powder
- 2 C macaroni, cooked
- Catsup
- Cook onion and celery in fat until golden.
- Add beef and cook well.
- Add tomato sauce, basil, salt, pepper and chili powder.
- Add macaroni and then catsup to taste.
Note: Can add cheese as a garnish. It adds a creaminess that is delightful!
