Pumpkin Bread

  • 15 oz pumpkin puree
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 C oil
  • 2/3 C water
  • 3 C sugar
  • 3 ½ C flour
  • 2 t baking soda
  • 1 ½ t salt
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1 t nutmeg
  • ½ t cloves
  • ¼ t ginger
  1. Preheat oven to 350°. 
  2. Grease and flour three 7x3” loaf pans. 
  3. In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin, eggs, oil, water, and sugar until well blended. 
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, soda, salt, and spices. 
  5. Stir dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture until just blended. 
  6. Pour into the prepared pans. 
  7. Bake for 50 minutes in the preheated oven. 
  8. Loaves are done when toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.


Note: You can also do 2 9x4 loaf pans for a longer period of time.
